ABOUT US

Mother Earth is a brand created out of love and respect for our planet. For our home, for our Mother Earth. Long before the brand was founded, we lived by clear principles – we always cared for our planet, we didn't want to pollute it, and we followed recycling principles. Where does this approach come from? The Earth is our home, our place, so we want it to last as long as possible, so we can breathe fresh air for as long as possible. We want to enjoy our company on a healthy, vibrant planet. We've always wanted to create clothes, because that's our passion. They had to be comfortable, made of breathable fabrics, something everyone could feel comfortable in. We wanted them to be of high quality, wearable for as long as possible – therefore, they also had to be timeless. We decided to combine our dreams of clothes with the longevity of our Mother Earth. In this way, we created a brand that is also our way of caring for the planet. This is how Mother Earth was created. From the very beginning, we have been guided by three principles that we strictly adhere to: high-quality clothing, ecological and recycled materials, and a transparent production process. Why are these issues important to us? Because they help us care for the environment. High-quality materials ensure long-lasting wear. By using high-quality materials, we extend their lifespan. Our clothes don't pille because we use a special enzymatic treatment during the production process, which reduces this effect. The fabrics are thick, supple, and have a strong weave. They are made of the highest quality cotton. However, to ensure the material retains its good shape for as long as possible, we must add a bit of polyester – but this isn't just any polyester – it's recycled polyester. Why do we emphasize that our polyester is recycled? Because there's already a lot of waste in the world, and we don't want to produce more of it. We transform it into something new! This way, waste is transformed into new fibers that we use to strengthen the fabric. Another advantage of recycled polyester is the fact that its processing uses significantly less energy and chemicals than its production.

Our knitwear is GOTS certified – we will never compromise on that. This certification means that the material must meet several requirements: it must be made from at least 70% organic fibers. The water cycle during production must be closed – this saves water. No GMOs may be used in production, and the linen, cotton, etc., must be organically grown. Furthermore, our knitwear is produced in the best factories. We oversee the production process ourselves. We call our knitwear our "flagship" because it is made exclusively for us and to our special order. They are very soft and supple. They have a so-called twill weave, which makes the knitwear even more resistant to stretching and retains its shape longer. This weave also creates an interesting effect. And that's not all! Our flagship knitwear has a looped reverse side that is gently brushed, giving it a soft feel. It has a delicate, pleasant nap that feels good on the skin. And on the right side, we use a peach skin effect – meaning the fabric is finished with a delicate nap, just like peach skin! You have to touch it! The fabrics are breathable, stretchy, and very durable. Our collections are minimalistic. That's because we want clothes to complement each other. They can be combined in endless combinations and styles. This makes them timeless and suitable for many occasions. They are durable, so you can have them in your wardrobe for years and still be fashionable – because fashion is about quality and style! This approach also helps avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste. We also encourage you not to throw away your clothes, but to recycle them! You might think that minimalism means boredom... Nothing could be further from the truth. We strive to make every garment stand out. Everything is meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. The clothes feature beautiful details, such as a tie at the back, a deep, beautifully finished neckline, or a delicate side slit. Everything is designed and manufactured with care and love. We make clothes we'd want to wear ourselves. Without exception! Why are we telling you all this? Because we have nothing to hide. Quite the opposite! We want to show you the solutions we use, what's important to us, and why. We want you to be conscious consumers who feel the mission of protecting our planet is as important to them as it is to us!
